Jonathan Majors is heading to trial in November after judge refuses to dismiss the case

Jonathan Majors is set to go to trial on 29 November over domestic abuse charges in connection to a dispute with his girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, on 25 March. The charges negatively impacted Majors' career, and he was dropped by his management, PR and several productions. The actor is currently starring in the second season of Marvel's, with previews of his character having been made available in the lead-up to the release of the show.

The defence in the trial argued that the prosecutor lacked evidence to support the charges against Majors and that they violated the Speedy Trial Act. "I am denying the defence's motion to dismiss," said Judge Michael Gaffey on Wednesday in the Manhattan Criminal Court. Majors appeared in the courtroom via Zoom. The ruling also granted a new protection order for Jabbari.

Majors was initially arrested on 25 March and charged with assault and aggravated harassment. Majors pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.Who we choose to trust can have a profound impact on our lives.
