There appears to be an effort within the Department of Justice and FBI to shut down an investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings despite "criminal information" provided to the FBI by more than 40 confidential sources relating to President Joe Biden, his brother James Biden, and his son Hunter Biden.
"Our Republic cannot survive such a political infection and you have an obligation to this country to clear the air," Grassley wrote in a letter in which he also requested records related to the investigation. He wrote that an "essential question" that must be answered is, Did the FBI investigate the information provided or shut it down? He wrote if those sources were "improperly shut down, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for the FBI."
