A Colorado Springs man pleaded guilty to assaulting police officers during the 2021 U.S. Capitol riot in federal court on Tuesday.

A photo included in Jonathan Grace’s arrest affidavit allegedly shows him in a crowd of people attempting to force their way into the U.S. Capitol. in the Lower West Terrace Tunnel entrance to the Capitol, according to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

Grace returned to the tunnel and continued to push against and assault officers until he was sprayed with pepper spray.
