A man told jurors he is 'upset' at claims he was involved in a child sex ring.

Iain Owens also refuted accusations that he physically harmed youngsters including putting one in a microwave.The seven men and four women deny a series of charges alleged to have occurred in the city between January 2010 and October 2020.

Owens - an ex-abattoir worker - was on Wednesday giving evidence at the trial which started at the beginning of September. The KC later put to him that there had been accusations of"organised sexual abuse" involving a"viewing gallery" and a"camera with a tripod".Owens admitted being involved in drugs, but denied getting one of the children to deliver illegal substances for him.
