Nasarawa Polls: PDP’s Ombugadu Rejects Governorship Result, Heads To Court – Channels Television

The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, David Ombugadu, has rejected the results of the just concluded polls released by the Independent National Electoral Commission .

But speaking to Channels Television on Thursday, Ombugadu alleged that the election was characterised by rigging. “I want to express total confidence in the judiciary, I believe the judiciary will do justice to what has happened in Nasarawa state and the peoples’ mandate that was stolen will be recovered through the legitimate process,” he said.But reacting to the allegation, the governor-elect, Sule says he is satisfied with his victory having won with a landslide.
