Former President Donald Trump's 2020 campaign attorney Jenna Ellis became the third of his team of ex-attorneys to plead guilty to charges in the Georgia election subversion and racketeering case on Tuesday.
Ellis is the fourth defendant to plead guilty in the case, which accuses 19 people including Trump of conspiring to overturn the election in the Peach State. Her agreement with prosecutors comes less than two weeks after two others, Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, negotiated deals just hours before heading to trial.Atlanta-area bail bondsman Scott Hall also entered a deal with prosecutors in September.
