The lawmaker representing Benue South District in the National Assembly, Senator Abba Moro has said all those who lost their lives in the Otukpo bank robbery would not die in vain assuring that everything would be done to bring the masterminds to justice.

He gave the assurance Monday against the backdrop of weekend’s security breach in Otukpo, the Headquarters of the Senatorial District where hooded armed men stormed five commercial banks with explosives and sophisticated weapons, killing the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, for Otukpo and three other officers including several other persons.

“While sympathizing with the victims of the barbaric attack, I call on security agents to go after the perpetrators of the heinous crime and bring them to book. They must not go scot-free. Meanwhile Senator Moro who also led a delegation on a condolence visit to the Police Area Command, Otukpo, that was also attacked by the armed men called for “intelligence gathering to forestall such occurrence in the future.”
