Joran van der Sloot will likely avoid prison time for killing Natalee Holloway, legal experts believe.The Caribbean island of Aruba, where the crime place in 2005, has a 12-year statute of limitations on murder and six years for involuntary homicide.Van der Sloot, 36, admitted in a federal court on Wednesday that he had beat the 18-year-old to death, but criminal attorney Paul DerOhannesian told Newsweek the Dutchman was unlikely to serve any time for the killing.
