'I am humbled by the outcome today': A jury found Kevin Spacey not guilty of all nine charges within one hour of deliberating.

Kevin Spacey received rapturous applause from the audience at the talk on ‘cancel culture’ Kevin Spacey was met with a standing ovation during a talk at Oxford University about ‘cancel culture’ following his sexual assault trial. The House Of Cards actor, 64, appeared in court in the UK on nine sexual assault claims, for which he was cleared of any wrongdoing in a London trial this year.

It comes after a London cinema has pulled out of screening Spacey’s first film since he was acquitted of sexual assault. The Se7en actor was due to mark an attempted comeback in his career with a showing of Control – a new independent British thriller – at The Prince Charles Cinema, just off Leicester Square. However, the cinema dropped out last minute, having not realised that the American actor was part of the cast.
