PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man says the party will never restrict debate on any issue, as long as it does not go against Islamic law.

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said the muktamar this weekend would focus on the strengthening of political and community unity, the rise in the cost of living, and the Palestinian conflict, among others.

He said PAS had never restricted debate on any issue, as long as it does not go against Islamic law, Utusan Malaysia reported. “The general and state elections clearly show that the people are with PN. We will continue to defend our promises and commitment to the voters,” he was quoted as saying. He said in an interview with TIME Magazine that he would also not oppose any possible cooperation with PAS in the future.
