Convicted murderer and rapist Sean Price has won a slight reduction in his jail sentence at Victoria's Court of Appeal.
Price was serving a minimum term of 41 years in prison for a series of crimes including the murder of 17-year-old Masa Vukotic and the rape of a woman in 2015. He was sentenced to a minimum 38 years' jail for those crimes, and an additional three years for breaching a supervision order when he committed the rape.
The court ruled the latter sentence constituted a double punishment and has reduced his overall sentence from 41 years to 40. Price appeared via video link and did not speak, but raised his middle finger to the court at the end of proceedings.
Death penalty needed 'Price appeared via video link and did not speak, but raised his middle finger to the court at the end of proceedings.'
Should have added a year for wasting the courts time 41 to 40 is just playing with the system and the system needs to start stopping appeals like this from happening by adding years not subtracting
One year closer to true justice waiting for him when he gets out.
