‘The right to have rights.” It’s 70 years since the philosopher Hannah Arendt coined that luminous phrase in an essay in the American socialist journal Modern Review. Two years later, Arendt developed the idea into a chapter in her book The Origins of Totalitarianism.
So I guess calling attention to the Palestinians living as 2nd class citizens might qualify for defense, yet doing so opens one up to screams of 'Anti Semitism'. I wonder why?

Like people in Venezuela who nobody really cares. There has been a blackout for more than 50 hours in the whole country. People dying in Hospitals including babies. No news is broadcasting this. It is all about having an interest, like how many viewers/readers can the news have.
