Mr Korn told the media he had not had the opportunity to speak to his client but understood Mr Hachem had been cooperating with police up until the point of his arrest.
"Police are very keen for anyone from the public to come forward with information about this silver Mitsubishi Lancer because we want to bring Samah home to her family," said Superintendent Julie Boon.Police are seeking any sightings of the vehicle near Ms Baker's home on Early Street in Parramatta around the time she disappeared, between 1am and 4am on Friday January 4.
Earlier this week, police seized items from bushland at a rest stop south of Goulburn where they believe Ms Baker was hours after she disappeared. CCTV footage captured Ms Baker entering the Vibe Hotel in North Sydney on Wednesday, January 2, accompanied by Mr Hachem, wearing a black T-shirt with white spots and blue denim shorts. The next day, she left the hotel in a peach-coloured dress.After leaving the hotel on the Thursday, Ms Baker went to a Catholic church before going to Coogee, the CBD and Chinatown for dinner with friends. She was then dropped off at her Parramatta home by a male friend at 1.30am on Friday January 4.
