A man is due in court in connection with the death of a 53-year-old man at an apartment complex in Tralee, Co Kerry, last year.

Joe Brosnan was found with serious stab wounds in his apartment in Abbey Court in the centre of Tralee on the evening of 22 May 2022.The father and grandfather was originally from Connolly Park in Tralee, and lived alone in the apartment.

A man in his 50s was arrested in England in recent days and extradited yesterday, where he was arrested at Dublin Airport by gardaí investigating Mr Brosnan's death.
