Rikki Warnick's suicide increased temperature of feud, court told

The suicide of "much liked" Rikki Warnick "increased the temperature" in a feud which allegedly led to the "merciless" shooting of Ashley Dale.

The jury heard Witham has admitted manslaughter, claiming he did not mean to shoot Ashley and did not see or hear her. He denies her murder. The festival also saw Barry's friend Zeisz was attacked by a friend of Mr Harrison's called Jordan Thompson, aka 'Dusty'. Zeisz was allegedly infuriated by the fact his girlfriend, Olivia 'Liv' McDowell, stayed with her friends Ashley, Mr Harrison and Mr Thompson after he left the festival.

Mr Greaney said the death of Mr Warnick became a "pressure point" when a number of events were planned to commemorate his life, including his funeral and wake and a balloon release. Ashley also referred to Zeisz "putting down the tyres" of Ms McDowell's car, and that Zeisz had been arguing with "everyone" at Glastonbury because he was sticking up for Barry, who appeared to be unpopular with Ashley and her friends.
