The CJN affirmed that public opinion, no matter how intense, cannot displace Nigeria’s Constitution. He, therefore, charged the judges to always apply its provisions when deciding cases. The new judges are: Dipeolu Deinde Isaac ; Ogundare Kehinde Olayiwola ; Agbaje Olufunmilola Adetutu ; Musa Kakaki ; Abdullahi Muhammad Dan-Ige ; Sharon Tanko Ishaya ; Salim Olasupo Ibrahim ; Yilwa Hauwa Joseph ; Wigwe-Oreh Chituru Joy ; Owoeye Alexander Oluseyi ; Anyalewa Onoja-Alapa ; and Amina Aliyu Mohammad .
