Sky News host Chris Kenny gives an update on Marina Ovsyannikova, the Russian journalist who took a stand against the Russian invasion of Ukraine on a live news broadcast.
Ms Ovsyannikova held a sign saying"stop the war" and"they are lying to you" and followed it up with public comments calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a fascist, and asking how many more children must die before the war stops."Luckily the 45-year-old escaped to Europe with her daughter and is now living in France.
"A court case in Moscow though has now handed down her sentence – in absentia, she was sentenced to eight and half years in jail, so clearly she won't be going home any time soon."
