Home Office sets out new measures to assist victims and bring perpetrators to justice

Up to £1m will be given to organisations that support men and boys who are victims of gender-based violence, the Home Office has announced as part of a series of measures.

So, m3n can be victims of domestic violence and sexual violence. Yes, I know it too well. But can you explain me one thing - men seen as victims of violence perpetrated by other men or women? Because society doesn't care about female violence against men at all.

I did a video on things like this just yesterday.

So which is it? Domestic or gendered violence? Will gay men be exclude from the program, as they aren't victims of gendered violence?

Brilliant. This has been a long time coming... I worked in dv for many years and was frustrated at the lack of services for men and acknowledgement, even when men did report. Let’s hope this leads to increased services and support 👍
