Senate Confirms Justice Department Lawyer to Federal Appeals Court

WASHINGTON—A divided Senate confirmed a top Justice Department lawyer to be a federal appeals judge Wednesday, over objections about his participation in the Trump administration’s decision to stop defending major parts of the Affordable Care Act in court.

The 52-47 Senate vote confirmed Chad Readler for a seat on the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which hears cases from Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee.

Hypocrisy? CNN MSNBC FoxNews Dems supported Obama when he stopped defending DOMA and they supported appt of DOJ’s Sri Srinivasan for a federal judgeship although he defended that decision and argued in favor. Research much?

McConnell and the Republi-cons are hell bent on filling the Federal Bench, But, no matter how you look at it, you cannot avoid the stench. Is it quid pro quo for crimes past, crimes present or crimes to be, Because Citizens United corruption in this GOP, is a fait accompli.

my question is why is this Individual1 able to select Federal Appeals judges while under investigation. We are going to have to deal with these individuals for a very long time.
