Court remands student accused of murdering lawyer pending DPP advice vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

Magistrate A. Kusanu in her ruling ordered that Usulor be remanded in Ikoyi Prison, pending the outcome of legal advice.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Cousin Adams, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Jan. 26, about 5.35 p.m. at a Hotel in Opebi. He alleged that Usulor slit the throat of one Feyisayo Obot, 34, a lawyer, with a knife after robbing her.The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of Section 222 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
