After nearly four hours of deliberation, the Judicial Service Commission announced that it supported the appointments of Judges Fayeeza Kathree-Setiloane and Maleshane Kgoele to the Supreme Court of Appeal - and, again, snubbed Judge David Unterhalter.
Moments after the JSC announced that decision, which will result in only half of the SCA's four vacancies being filled, EFF leader and JSC commissioner Julius Malema appeared to suggest that he had influenced that outcome.
