Tributes have been paid to a man who died on Monday morning, October 1, after a disturbance at a flat in Glasgow. A 47-year-old woman has since appeared in court accused of 'attempted murder'.

Tributes have been paid to a man who died following a disturbance at a flat near Glasgow city centre.

Amanda Welsh has since appeared in court accused of attempting to murder Joseph. Court papers state the 47-year-old allegedly struck the victim over the head and body with a knife - leaving him severely injured, with permanent disfigurement, impairment and to the danger of his life as well as attempted murder.READ MORE: Two children rescued from remote Lanarkshire forest by helicopter crews

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.05am on Saturday, September 30, 2023, a 30-year-old man was taken to hospital after he was found seriously injured at a property in Braid Square, Glasgow.
