The Chicago State University has released the academic records of President Bola Tinubu, following requests by Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , in the 2023 elections.
On Saturday, the US district court for the northern district of Illinois ordered the CSU to release Tinubu’s academic records. Atiku had filed a response in the court insisting on the earlier judgment that ordered the release of Tinubu’s academic records. Atiku asked the court to order the release of the records before October 3, 2023, in order to allow him use the documents at the Supreme Court in Nigeria on October 5.Chicago State University has furnished Atiku with academic records of Tinubu, including a sample of certificates issued to other graduates in 1979.
The sample provided by the school is at variance with one Tinubu submitted to INEC. Even the logo is different.
