Under ancient Roman law, those who were accused of the most heinous crimes were stripped of their status as citizens. They became known as “homo sacer”, or “sacred man” – sacred in its original sense, of being set apart. Anyone who encountered the sacred man was entitled to kill him with impunity. The distinction depended on the privileged political and legal status afforded to Roman citizens.
By taking away the citizenship of people who think like her, it's protecting the rights of the rest of the population. jamesbridle
So basically sajid javid did something illegal under international law
There is, of course, a big difference between being British and possessing British citizenship. One is immutable, inherent/innate; the the other a legal contract. To conflate the two is disingenuous.
Jail them if they committed a crime, but to remove inalienable rights such as one's citizenship is such a sinister proposal. It's 'Terrorists' just now, however you define one. Used to be slaves, Nazis, Jews, Flora and Fauna... Dehumanizing to make it OK never ages well.

My view... If you don’t play by the rules you should get thrown out of any club or country. How about a nomad Citizenship “British exile” Then the people concerned can beg to any country to take them in with all the RISKS involved. Chopping heads off isn’t a laughing matter.
I dont care if you are a citizen or not, you become a terrorist, you dont get to come back
