State issue.

No should not do it.

Separation of Church and State. Unless it is going to be turned into a museum with minimal costs foe upkeep it should not be taxpayer funded We also need a maximum budget for all churches across the whole USA . Maybe $500,000 nationwide to pay for utilities.

Supreme Court To Decide Fate Of World War I Memorial Cross On Public LandThe American Humanist Association is challenging the existence of a 40-foot cross on government-owned land, but the Trump administration hopes a newly conservative majority on the Supreme Court will agree to let it stand. Other than a partisan decision, I'm not really sure what the legal basis for letting it stand would be. These artifacts are illegal under the current laws. Waste of time money & energy.
