The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has inaugurated his legal team to challenge the result of the just concluded presidential election.
“I have just inaugurated my legal team and charged them with the responsibility of ensuring that our stolen mandate is retrieved,” Atiku was quoted as saying in the statement.“The judiciary which had in the past discharged itself ably is once again being called upon to deliver judgement on this matter that will be untainted by lucre and uncowed by the threat of immoral power.”
In his reaction, Atiku rejected the result, alleging several malpractices including the use of the military to perfect voters’ intimidation and suppression in PDP strongholds. The PDP candidate, thereafter, said he would use all available legitimate means to challenge the result of the election.
atiku if you guys had actually worked when in power, there would have been a WORKING JUSTICE SYSTEM, u would have won FAIRLY.
Grace all the way. Amen
It's the right way to go! It is better to fight and lose, than to concede in the face of robbery, fear of intimidation and harrassment.
He will be disgrace
This is a move most welcomed instead of atikus bickering and spurious allegations at a Press Briefing
Has he also appointed the media partners? I guess he would need to arrange to beam the Court sessions live to the world especially, Dubai, China, EU, UK and America.
Good. At least the lawyers shall have their meal.
Go ahead sir
The legal team should first challenge him for not winning his own polling unit in his own state before challenging others. Wasted efforts and money. Mitchewwwww
God has destined to make some Judges rich through him, let him go ahead, Buhari shall rule Nigeria for the next four years by the grace of God.
Stupidity of high order
Apc rigged, Pdp rigged too just that apc rigged it better so atikulated should go and rest let all have peace
Shame team
Can't stop laughing 😂😆😆😆😂😂 at his downfall
Allow legal luminaries,SAN,s to eat from his I'll gotten wealth.he gonna lose.he should try next time.
A lot of ppl didn't know d causes of insecurity in d world, Injustice is among. If anybody feels so, let him goto court and let d court be unbiased! I love atiku move. INEC must call to question even Buhari said it. He would hv challenged INEC if he had lost.
How many times will l correct u these journalists. I said the headline should 'Atiku inaugurates legal team to enrich his lawyer friends'
Let him go to seek redress. That's best for democracy! Let the court give us the clarity. That election was marred with a lot of anomalies.
Very good and I am so HAPPY
That's the spirit,... Fight..
If God wants atiku to be President he would have succeeded OBJ not MBuhari..Even GEJ with all federal might couldn't win him let alone stolen money left in the cooler for along time..mtchwe!
He can go ahead
Waziri Adamawa should forget about this and let Nigeria move forward. I think he should challenge OBJ(my watch) for his predicament rather than electoral process or result.
Waste of time
Its surprising to see Atiku cry, just days later to come out and fight over split milk, sorry to say, oga if you had won,am very sure Buhari won't be a baby in Christ,so why not be like Jonathan and go rest, because 4years is like days that's is stretched.
It’s another loss or problem when losers don’t want to accept defeat. Atiku my man should just let go
Good move
Congratulations guys as you are set to get your own share
is left to him
Make atiku know say na only dem wey never chop him money and now God have answered their prayers (legal tram)🤣🤣🤣🤣they will surely chop his money and he will still loose.NigeriaDecidesRigged nigeriadecide2019 TheVerdict 2019Elections OfficialAPCNg MBuhari
This dollar that are about to go on waste should have been use to transformed the welfare of your local people at Jada LGA .what a bad move and bad thinking all in the quest of being in power by ALL means possible.
We have to get it right and this is d TIME!
All because you want to sell NNPC..🤣🤣🤣
Oga, stop wasting your money Sir.
I want the legal team to start by challenging his incompetency to win his pooling unit. Best of luck
As he is defeated in the election he will also be defeated in the court.
Four Years awaiting Judgment for atiku Four Years running the government for Buhari
atiku Sir, Are you trying to say PDP never rigged..He who comes into equity must come with clean hand
Food for Barristers.
This is good but laughable! Digging much on elections manipulations would only exposed PDP rigging too in South/East No Saint grassroots politicians in Nigeria. Did Atiku remember that, many of his grassroots politicians bribed NYSC officers in different hostels ? funzone
Why rig election if truely you know people want you? People are just tired of this fake integrity government. atiku Nigerians are solidly behind you and our vote must count
RuzemmanuelC No need for him to go to court, this folks knew the game of chess and foresaw every possible move and immediately suspended the CJN. No matter how far Atiku goes or how well his legal team plays, PMB has the queen to checkmate every game played out. Save ya money sir.
Too much money
👏👏👏👏
Hmmm
Going to court in the next four years.
That's a wise decision.
That is good. It is a step further to deepen our democracy. He cannot win but politicians will learn one or two things. And lawyers will smile to the banks, Atiku has a lot to share round.
Is it really worth the while?
Good!!!
atiku I am happy to hear this. For once we have to get things right. We just can't sweep all the wrong acts that happened at the election under the carpet just 'cause MBuhari got a hold on the Judiciary. No!
Every single soul in Nigeria knew that atiku OfficialPDPNig can never win the case. MBuhari won the election with good margins. Anyway is good for the lawyers to make some money
So he had a full ceremony to unveil his legal team, wowzas.
He will fail woefully. Olodo candidate
How would he recoup the 47 billion he paid to get presidential ticket under pdp
That's my President the man i vote for
Was Atiku rigged in his polling unit and LGA where he lost?.I sincerely think this man is too desperate to get power and can do anything. He has the right to go to court but he should remember that since 2015 No election has been up turned
Share the money! Oya SANs time to milk him for another 3-4years. Let’s go!
Very good
PMB went to court every election he lost, ATIKU shouldn't be different. Let's test THEIR judiciary , lets investigate the brazen disregard for the people's will, pretending all is well is dangerous.
Drama... we go see na
This is why the youths can't for once move forward in this nation. Election that was clearly rigged, most of u are here jubilating in corruption. So which corruption are u fighting. If the judiciary & Inec will for once be factual to themselves, his challenge will ve effect.
We want our mandate back
Kudos to you Sir and may the good Lord Almighty strengthen you and guide you through this process, victory is within reach.
God have buttered the breads of those Legal teams
good action
Great move Waziri, you have much support
These legal team are so lucky because Atiku will enrich them, dollars will flow.
As the Lord liveth, he will lose the case against MBuhari
This is achance for lawyers
You are better of hiring Rudolph William Louis Giuliani (Rudy Giuliani) to help shape your clueless challenge...starting with how you got into the US because of your material quest for power...Smell the coffee...Never shall PDP get any close to our treasury again.
Silent and Action is speaking ridon sir
If Atiku likes let him inaugurate Constitutional Court, he will never smell the yard in aso rock except when he's sweeping it.
Hundreds of women on the streets of abuja telling him to accept the result of Feb 23
If Atiku likes, let him go to the World Court at the Hague too. We are waiting o.
Nigeria does not have a history of overturning presidential elections. How did he even think he could win?
Can people send in application?
Rubish
Waste the remaining dollars my good man 😂😂
Ride on sir
Atiku is coming
man so desperate....
Lol...Go and dash Dem money as usual
oh, wat a pain, won't you enrich your friends again
A complete desperate desperation by a desperate . You can't rule this country Atiku. .
You don't have work
That is his fundamental human right to seek redress in the court of law. But he should first think of the country before his personal ambition
A lawyer said on air that he will likely spend 3 to 5 billion naira execute the case .. this is huge
Waste
This man...just looking for power at all means He has moved from.APC to PDP over two times in recent years, let him take a chill pill or cross back to APC for 2023 ticket
BetaKoncept Confirm. God bless you sir
BetaKoncept Very good..
The lawyers need to chop Na, but advice him to remember to save some money for feeding😂
Is he still inaugurating by now? Are the courts so far away that he couldn't approach them since last week? See laugh....
Nice one

Who authorize you to Inaugurates legal team in Nigeria, you this Cameroon thief

Best post election news. He shouldn't succumb, because the outcome will expand our Democratic experience. Thanks atiku
Last card! but Bros Na BAD card you get. Your case is dead on arrival. If you have good friends you will dump this venture
Go on Na ur dollar Dem dey find b4
Awon lawyer jeun jeun ... They wan collect their own dollar
Hope they r credible
You're defeated by 3.9m vote you still they dream, which mandate who give it to you,on I yeye,
Atiku, forget about this.. Buhari own the judiciary, this is Nigeria
If our democracy and inecnigeria, and the recently concluded presidential electoral process is worth anything, anything at all, then it must be challenged, evaluated, and the results scrutinized for quality. Period!!! nigeeiadecides2019
As they say: ' If you don't know how to come down, don't climb.'
This nigga too much money to waste
Good decision... elections in this Rat+hole country never mean a thing to me, but this one sure hit me where it hurts me. Feels more like when one lost a very valuable relative.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Waste of time and money, crying of going to court suddenly becomes campaign after election. Buhari was in court 3 time what come out of it nothing, I hope you will not blame judiciary this time.
Mr no nonsense, l'm fully behind you Sir. All the best
atiku just leave it be mbok!!!
This man has too much money to waste o. What actually will be his complaints at the Courts? Why does this man want to ridicule himself again after the shameful loss at the polls? Me I see Nigeria as my personal business and I can never employ anyone like Atiku. Not as a clerk.
I wish I was charge and bail lawyer would have been included
Supported, let's go there!...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He should save the money to help his people.
excellent move on the right direction.
Good luck.
My elder brother is a confirm lawyer, come n hire him, he needs dollars too
Atiku the challenger 🙌
Lol....too much show! He can inaugurate whatever without so much noise. No legal team can change the fact that he's been largely rejected, mostly by his own people!
Blood stains everywhere
More grease to your elbow sir.
Let’s get this started boss!
