Waldron suggested Becerra has been too busy suing the Trump administration — he has filed 46 lawsuits thus far — to make the gun program work. Becerra said that in just over the last decade, the number of known firearm owners in California has more than doubled from 927,686 in 2008 to 2,516,836 as of Jan. 1.
