The Nigerian Army on Saturday said its activities in the just-concluded Presidential and National Assembly polls were within the ambit of the law and rules of engagement.
According to spokesman of the army, Col. Sagir Musa, “we acted within the requirements of the law, rules of engagement and code of conduct”. Electoral officers in some states, including Rivers, Lagos and Delta, accused the military of interfering in the elections.
Allowing thugs to rig our elections, stoping voters from exercising their rights and shooting at corp members is that what u mean?
Inside polling booths in Rivers state, etc is your legal boundary?
I rate the Nigerian army and the police force very low on their conduct during the last election. Most of them were used to abuse the law in an unprecedented manner, and I keep asking 'why would a civilian issue an order that is contrary to the law and they still carry out'?
Bloody liars that is what Nigerian Army are. It is unfortunate that institutions of govt is being drag into politics.
Really?
Pathological liar
Legal boundaries set by APC
The prestige our military carry has been bastardized by political cabals.
I like it when I have to score myself. I never would have failed an examination.
I guess they meant to say illegal
No!
Bloody liars
You shitholes had no constitutional rights to be out of the barracks on election day to start with.
And also killed within legal boundary.
By killing the opposition for an apc victory? Or is there any constitutionality for the part you played during the elections?
As in stopping collation of votes, harassment of INEC staff is within legal boundary? Ok!
Nonsense talk.
There's no legal place for the military inside electoral act... even the June 12 conducted by the military didn't have military presence, how come Democrats militarize elections
Your legal boundary is the barracks except during war
That is true
