'The most effective path forward, for Washington and the world, would be to insist that (Jamal) Khashoggi's death become a turning point to pressure Saudi Arabia to press forward on reform,' FareedZakaria writes for CNNOpinion

We are living the new world orderSaudi elites will often tell visitors that they need to understand that the Saudi regime, for all is flaws, is more liberal, progressive, and pro-Western than Saudi society. It's never easy to tell whether this is true in an absolute monarchy where dissent is banned and dissidents jailed. But the society is conservative.

FareedZakaria Opinion When dictators rule don't expect any reform, you and the whole world know this ,so don't go around things!

FareedZakaria Opinion The Khashoggi death is an example of how Saudi Arabia cares about bringing out the truth! The crown prince is working hard in punishing those responsible for the killing.

FareedZakaria Opinion The Saudi's aren't going to be pressured into any meaningful reform because of Jamal Khashoggi's murder, ridiculous premise. They'd have to agree it was wrong to do it, they do not. The only pressure they'll respond to is fiscal pressure. US energy independence is a great start.

FareedZakaria Opinion Hey Fareed, you need to get your priorities in line.

FareedZakaria Opinion No that’s sounds like a cop out. How does buyer wry unaddressed ever move anything forward CNN please stop spinning your own fantasy story or go write got Disney

FareedZakaria Opinion Should have done this after 9/11 when it was shown most of the attackers were Saudis

FareedZakaria Opinion Can you provide us any opinions that CNN made to Obama about giving $150 billion to Iran in the middle of the night in an unmarked Plane while they chanted death to America and got nothing in return?

FareedZakaria Opinion To those who shed tears of crocodile over a killing of only one individual and sympathized with criminals in the Saudi jails, I have to remind them of notorious Abo Ghraib prison atrocities and bombing civilian in Iraq & Syria , etc, people are fed up with the double standards.

FareedZakaria Opinion 'Pressure' Saudi Arabia? No, ostracize Saudi Arabia until it removes Murderer Mohammed bin Salman from power. Saudi Arabia will not hold bin Salman accountable, but world government's can refuse to deal with a Saudi government in which he functions. MurdererbinSalman Khashoggi

FareedZakaria Opinion Khashoggi’s killing was reprehensible. But why do the rest of us need to suffer? People all over the world are killed in reprehensible ways everyday. It’s a cruel world.

FareedZakaria Opinion Dillusional thought by Fareed. Nice try blzh bah. Try to talk in terms reality not hypothetical

FareedZakaria Opinion Fareed Zakaria knows Iran alot more than Saudi Arabia. His knowledge is almost minimal. He would be good writing about his beloved country(Iran).

FareedZakaria Opinion Buzzfeed story backed by CNN, nope you own it. Right after Mueller team exposed as fake news you immediately buzzed that WAPO Foreign Influence Agent again! tape this link on your keyboard!

FareedZakaria Opinion Truth be told Saudi prince Mohammed Bin Salman ( AKA Kushner's personal ATM ) asked Jared to ask Trump for permission to Kill Jamal Khashoggi & without thinking of the repercussion's & the fact it was someone's life Trump said what do I care & gave the ok

FareedZakaria Opinion 'Even if that is the product of decades of deliberate social policies, the reality is that Saudi Arabia is not in its intellectual makeup a modern country. It can only move into modernity slowly and fitfully.' Fareed: I'm convinced you've equally offered a description of the USA

FareedZakaria Opinion 🇺🇸 policy is not going to change, because one dumbass journalist put himself in danger. He is not going to be the reason that the diplomacy breaks down. We do not care if you knew him. We did not know or care about him.

FareedZakaria Opinion Zakaria has been an incompetent fool for many years, he should retire!

FareedZakaria Opinion Muslim Brotherhood advocate, Jamal Khashoggi, is not an American. This scumbag didn't even die at the hands of Americans or on American soil. Let. It. Go.

FareedZakaria Opinion I sense an anti trump agenda here without even reading the article.

FareedZakaria Opinion How's about u knucklehead CNN liberal gossip reporters and liars trying doing ur jobs honestly...and leave running the USA to the President of the United states of America..President Trump.

FareedZakaria Opinion Khashoggi consumed by the fire he played with none of our business

FareedZakaria Opinion Take the opportunity to push Saudi Arabia on their way to treat the country's women and the women who are imprisoned and subjected to violence and sexual abuse in Saudi prisons, just because they demand their right to be free women.

FareedZakaria Opinion Please... a terror state that is protected by the very country it attacks.. you people at CNN can’t really believe some of the shit you report do you

FareedZakaria Opinion Is that official position?Inquiring minds want to know.

FareedZakaria Opinion The horror he must have felt and yet it seems like no one really cares breaks my heart no ones been punished for the crime ...why?

FareedZakaria Opinion Justice is still needed. It could be turning point.

FareedZakaria Opinion Don’t be surprised when the Saudis retaliate by aligning with Russia and China.
