McCoy, who went by the stage name Willie Bo, was waiting at a Taco Bell drive-thru at around 10:30 p.m. when employees found him and called police, authorities said. Officers said they noticed a handgun on his lap, and determined the doors of his Mercedes Benz were locked as they contemplated retrieving the firearm.

"Release of information at this time would jeopardize the integrity of the investigation and would interfere with the investigators' ability to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation," Vallejo police said in response to requests to review the footage.to release any video within 45 days following the firing of a gun or use of deadly force by an officer. Departments can delay the release for up to 30 days if doing so interferes with the investigation.

Re: 'unresponsive rapper'? And cops killed him? Aren't cops suppose to do COR, call ambulance, 911? Cops did all the reverse and worse;'killed ' a non responsive person?

So what.

I'm all for hating on police who wrongfully discharge their weapon, but if you sit in your car with a gun on your lap that's just asking for trouble.

All he had to do was raise his arms up, he died becausevpeople like nbc promote disrespecting police. .nbc and others should be sued...for their actions

Don’t go for a gun or act like you are going for a gun when faced with the police. Maybe try not to pass-out in the Taco Bell drive thru, as well.

Cops dying weekly in America. Many Americans are starting to understand they have a war on their hands. They will no longer take a chance with people. You have a gun, your the enemy. They did not start this, but they will put a end to it.

Hmmm don't see your coverage of all the police officers who have been murdered.

I always sleep in my car with an illegal weapon in my lap....When anyone knocks on my window I reach for my firearm immediately!!

Did the autopsy show the suspect was still alive at the time of the shooting?
