Hope for Parkinson’s sufferers as breakthrough trial shows how damage to brain cells could be REVERSED

A breakthrough trial has provided the first glimmer of hope that Parkinson’s disease could be reversed.British neurologists have regenerated brain cells damaged by the condition for the first time, using a special implant that injects drugs deep into the brain.The researchers, led by experts at the University of Bristol, admitted they had failed to prove the GDNF treatment actually improved patient’s symptoms.
