George Pell pre-sentence hearing LIVE: Court to decide convicted sex abuser's fate

The Archbishop of Melbourne has apologised to victims of child sex abuse by clergy and the broader community for the church’s treatment of those who were abused.

Reverend Comensoli admitted the church had engaged in cover-ups and obfuscation in its dealings with victims, including via its Melbourne Response protocol for compensation, developed by Pell when he was Melbourne archbishop.

It's time to change the 'stranger danger' educational program to a more realistic approach. Sadly that would entail teaching parents to assume that every man that wants to be around your kid is a potential perpetrator. Teach your kids to be confident to say 'yes I will tell'.
