*Supposed* sexual-assault victims. Good, so long a minimum of 10x the average sentence in jail without parole. And no lucrative book deals, GoFundMe millions, etc.
And removing the statute of limitations, perhaps?
In many cases, I think we need to spend more time proposing ways to prevent sexual assault & abuse, educating young people about sexuality & positive sexual behaviors, coming up with comprehensive rehabilitation of abusers, & less time proposing ways to punish, imprison & sue.
Provided that we are still allowing due process for all involved (dubious with the way things are going in NJ these days) this is a really good thing.
As they should. I was sexually assaulted in New Jersey by a sicko who was on probation and a judge let him go.
