AI investment is on the rise, both financially and practically, but AI is not without its drawbacks. There are wide-ranging concerns about its use, from security/data protection, inaccuracies, bias, and deep fakes can be cause for alarm. Alexandra Givens, CEO of the Center for Democracy & Technology, sits down with Yahoo Finance's Rachelle Akuffo to discuss the pros and cons of AI and how it impacts people's lives. Givens explains that since AI is moving too fast at the moment for governments to put up actionable legislation, it's up to companies to 'have to be thinking defensively from the beginning, thinking responsibly, and anticipating those unintended consequences to make sure that they are guarding against them.'
