Supreme Court takes up Trump administration’s plan to ask about citizenship in censusA lower court said the question, not asked of all households since 1950, could lead to an undercount of the U.S. population. Census is used to allocate Electoral College votes so if 14-22MM IllegalImmigrants included,States that dont enforce immigration laws like CA, Il, NY will be rewarded w more electoral college votes than rightly deserved. This is why Dems care States and tax payers have the right to know what parts of their population are citizens, legal immigrants, & illegal immigrants. A clearer picture would help the immigration conversation.
