Craig Oliver’s comments about Lametti being independent arbiter are incorrect. Lametti is top government lawyer. As such he acts on behalf of and defends GOC interests. He has a duty to protect GOC interests which are at odds w/ being independent. Hire legal analyst 2 discuss.
