Victoria Police loses its latest bid to suppress the identity of Informer 3838, the lawyer whose role as a police informant at the height of Melbourne's gangland war sparked a royal commission.

But the crims STILL shouldn’t have convictions quashed. That Informer 3838 was the source of the facts doesn’t alter those facts. They’re still guilty. They should NOT get off on technicalities. They don’t play by rules, so shouldn’t complain when caught by info from Informer3838
