At what point do we as citizens say Sacramento can fuck off? When we have strangers sleeping in our beds?

And yet no money is being spent on infrastructure, schools, hospitals, etc. to accommodate the influx of new residents. 😡

Huntington Beach city mayor did the same thing and just like what governor did to president. The difference is that mayor did for the good of his people but governor did for political reason and his own interest.

This sounds ominous. Government control of housing is sure to mess it up entirely

There’s affordable housing if you move away from the coast. Common sense. If you can’t afford to live in an area, move! There are plenty of less expensive areas. Overbuilding high density low-income housing is not the answer. Homeless still couldn’t afford HB.

Wait, hold on. Isn’t this the guy who said he didn’t like the federal government telling California what to do? Just because you build more “housing” doesn’t mean the costs will drop unless the government artificially suppresses the costs.

Build the wall.

We should re-zone Gavin’s neighborhood for low income, high density housing and homeless shelters. Let’s lead, by leading Gav! The future belongs to the bold!

Mafioso politics.

Newsom sounds like a bigger bully than Trump. Sad!

The law needs to be rewritten to specify that low income housing is the required build until that emergency is solved.

Will he penalize LA City Council and Garcetti for allowing so many evictions of rent-controlled tenants for luxury housing? How about all the luxury housing along train lines?

California will be dead in no time.

They will if a Recall Newsom movement started going and cities and counties jumped on board.

Is he forcing Marin County to build more affordable housing or is that a little too close to home for him?
