They will continue to use the law to advance their sick cause, they aren't dumb, they're cunning. Everything needs to be done by the book or they will exploit the mistakes. Both the judge and prosecutors need to do better.

Ok so obviously no one is going to be successful in their desire to be tried under any religious doctrine in Canada. That said if I’m understanding this correctly the judge was lax in his understanding of amended law in relation to jury selection. Thus a new trial will ensue?
