mariaressa AP, you should interview the complainant. That's how fair journalism works, right? Or not?

mariaressa A PRIVATE CITIZEN sued her for libel which has nothing to do with the government!!! irresponsiblejournalism is what it is. Do your research!

mariaressa Hahahhahahahha

Care to interview the man who filed the case against Ressa? We'd🇵🇭 like to hear that other side of the story too. We🇵🇭 REALLY don't care about Ressa or her awards. She should be in jail.

mariaressa Do you guys knew that this case was filed by a private entity for publishing false information? I though you guys do your research before posting? You should change your name to The Associated Gossip. Disgusting.

mariaressa lol. Libel case was from 2012/2014 file from a private citizen. Though she has other cases like tax but no one is above the law. Now time for them to prove if what they were saying that time were TRUE in court.

mariaressa No one is silencing her. In fact she and rappler has been damaging duterte’s image for almost 3 years now and duterte is just letting them. No case filed against them by Duterte. She is enjoying and abusing her press freedom. She is not above the law.

mariaressa

mariaressa Oh please. That case was filed by a private individual - who requested the libelous post to be taken down - but she did not yield. She had it coming.

mariaressa Ctto

mariaressa She bail after the arrest so dramatic entrance Hahaha so her followers will pity her sainthood act. So sad only 1% cry 101% cry as a tears of joy.

mariaressa mariaressa has abused, misused and stepped on someone else's rights. And she has the guts to tell everyone that she is being oppressed together with her so-called freedom? That's BS

mariaressa Don't be a jerk . You should know better.

mariaressa You shoukd do a thorough bcoz research bcoz that's the right thing a journalist should do on how mariaressa pretends to be a wolf on a sheeps clothing come here in our country. Majority of the citizens here do not buy her antics that's why she spreads lies overseas.

mariaressa It is so ironic that the law was passed during Aquino administration where there were also journalist being killed and Philippines was in top 10 country dangerous for journalist. She was silent then and empowered because she is so bias.

mariaressa Threat to democracy? Can't you see how many microphones are held up on her ugly face? Democracy is very much alive in the Philippines!

mariaressa Not true! She was arrested beacuse of fake news on a private businessman!

mariaressa Hey don't you get it? Majority of netizens are against mariaressa 's lies and deception?

mariaressa The problem with foreign media is they no longer do research and verification but rely on news given by colleagues and take it as the truth and Ressa uses it to her advantage and hide under the guise of press freedom.

mariaressa The judiciary is independent and well functioning in the Phils. You will experience the hard hands of the law if you evade taxes or break laws. That woman defamed & destroyed a private citizen, and you want her to get away with it?

mariaressa If you live outside the PH, you would think this lady deserved the sympathies she is getting. But if you get to know the facts straight and the case at hand, you will know the truth.

mariaressa her interpretation of the law doesn't matter. exhibit a for the queen of fake news

mariaressa at least 'legal system' but you on the other hand, used press freedom to get out of your illegal wrongdoing. how dare you!
