Middletown police say the driver, one Coleman Ferguson, refused to stop when first flashed in front of Shenandoah High School while going “well over 100 miles per hour and passing several other vehicles.” The chase continued into the next county, where the driver was seen running a red light at an intersection before turning wildly at an out-of-service bridge in Pendleton, Indiana, losing control of the car, plowing through a yard, and landing stuck in a creek., was cleared at hospital before being arrested for resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, a Level 6 felony that comes with the mandatory jail time. He allegedly told police that he didn’t stop because he was scared.
