A group of Canberra apartment owners facing $19 million in repairs for shoddy building work are dealt another blow, losing a Federal Court bid to claim compensation.

As the units were originally built 2007 if I was one of the owners that bought apartments in 2012, I would be looking to who did the building inspections reports.

I would be very wary about investing in any form of apartment & if it was not economically feasible to do so when also including the cost of comprehensive insurance cover I would not do it at all, unless I was prepared to acknowledge that I was gambling on the real estate market.
