Police have opened an investigation 👮 into four suspects after making the arrests during a business robbery at a hotel in Umhlanga ECR_Newswatch Police

Private security company Marshall Security says the suspects allegedly used social media to lure victims to hotel rooms and B&Bs to rob them.It's added the suspects had allegedly used fake profiles online and are wanted in connection with crimes in Durban North, Umhlanga and Ballito.KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the gang's appeared in the Durban Magistrate's Court, with the case postponed to next week.

"Police in Durban North have arrested four suspects, who are aged between 28 to 38-years-old, in connection with five counts of common robberies, murder and armed robbery. "Police together with other law enforcement agencies worked on intelligence and investigated. Two of the suspects had just committed a robbery at a hotel when they were arrested."
