Alberta fire chiefs slam lack of consult on new 'move over' driver rules

which would have required drivers in all lanes of traffic travelling on the same side of the road as a stopped emergency or roadside worker vehicle to slow down to 60 km/h or the speed limit, whatever is lower, when the vehicle’s lights are flashing.

On Thursday, the AFCA voiced “deep disappointment and concern” regarding recent amendments made to the safety provisions introduced by Bill 5.
