Trump’s legal team has until Monday to make its request for a trial date, federal District Judge Tanya Chutkan ruled—a trial date will be set at an August 28 hearing.to roundly blast the Department of Justice over its investigation, which he labeled a “witch hunt,” arguing the indictments “aren’t legit” and “were all thrown up at me, quickly and haphazardly.
