Deputy Speaker Datuk Al-Hambra Tun Juhar granted the passing of the amendment bill after majority of the August House members agreed to the amended law which is now cited as the Islamic Family Law Enactment 2023.State Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Dr. Arifin Arif, who is also the State Exco of Islamic Affairs, tabled the bill.
