Teenager arrested in connection with serious Dundalk assault

A male juvenile in his teens has been arrested and charged in relation to a serious assault that took place in Dundalk on Sunday.

It is understood that he was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained in the incident.The teen who was arrested is now expected to appear before Trim District Court at 10:30am this morning. They added that any road users who may have camera footage and were travelling in the area of Rampart Lane, Dundalk between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday August 6 are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
