High Court Judge Leonard David Shim ruled that the CM, Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Bin Haji Noor, acted lawfully and within the limits of his powers under Section 24A of the Forest Enactment 1968 to cancel Idris Hydraulic’s SFMLA on public interest grounds.

FMUs 8 and 13 comprise an area of some 238,000 hectares of timber.In his 78-page decision, High Court Judge Leonard David Shim ruled that the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Bin Haji Noor, acted lawfully and within the limits of his powers under Section 24A of the Forest Enactment 1968 to cancel Idris Hydraulic’s SFMLA on public interest grounds.
