Lost my vote Bill why couldn't you wait until you are elected big mistake. If one boat comes here between now and election your gone.

Great news. I don’t care how annoyed people are by asylum seekers it’s no reason to retaliate with cruelty. It makes all of us complicit. Open detention centres in cities or regional towns, create the jobs in Australia and we wouldn’t have all these problems.

Hahaha suck it sky news

It’s *NOT* the first major govt loss on a bill since 1929. Fadden lost a vote on a Budget Bill on the 3rd of October 1941, 36-33 and Curtin became PM (thanks Tim for the info).

Government of dolls trying to destroy democracy & putting activist doctors in charge. Defies belief. Make every one of them take in a refugee for a few years.

RouleReport 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

It's A WIN for the Govt as Labor Shorten Phelps & Co will clearlycompromise our border security

And Ch7 Brissy gave it 20 seconds as the 4th story - if it had been Labor in the LNP's position, they'd have commisioned a 13 part mini-series about it 😂😂
