$1.375 billion for 55 miles is over $4,820 per lineal foot. That will buy one heck of a fence or someone is getting rich off the deal. What a waste of taxpayer money!

So $25 million per mile. Cost to drive around? About $3. Cost to tunnel under? About $30 for pick and shovel. Cost to climb over? About $8 for rope. Value for any wall for preventing migration when it doesnt include a heavily monitored and patrolled 5-25 mile wide DMZ, nothing.
